FAQs

Palo Verde Pools is a boutique custom pool builder, which means we offer truly custom design and only handle a small number of projects at a time. We keep our number of projects low so you don’t feel like a number during the construction process.

Our projects range anywhere from 3 months to 6 months depending on the size of the project. While our larger projects can take longer, the project size is determined by the size of the pool and details in the design.

There are several options for financing which are available under the Financing page on our website. The most common are unsecured pool loans through companies such as Lyon Financial or HFS. Another way to finance your pool is through a Home Equity Line of Credit through our network of local or national banks.

Palo Verde Pools offers warranties on every aspect of your pool from a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the gunite shell to other warranties on the pool equipment, plaster, decking, and masonry work.
A gunite pool offers greater design flexibility, allowing for custom shapes and sizes, while a fiberglass pool is limited to specific shapes and sizes. Gunite pools are highly durable when properly maintained and have significant structural strength. The lifespan of a gunite pool is significantly longer when compared to fiberglass pools.
The team at Palo Verde Pools will obtain city permits for you and assist you with HOA approval. We will also help you determine if a permit is needed based on your home’s location.
The first step is to reach out to our team and set up a design consultation where our designers will meet with you to take a look at your property, take measurements, and generate a custom 3D design. From there, our team will create a quote for you. Once the design is finalized, our in-house tech team will create construction plans for your review and schedule a time to measure and paint the outline of your pool in your yard. After that, the construction process begins with excavation of the pool.

We can work off of construction plans if your home isn’t built yet and we prefer to work alongside you as early as possible in the home building process to ensure the home is suitable for your dream pool. The first step would be to set up a design consultation with our team to review building plans.
